Welcome to Rotherham Shukokai Karate - RSK

Rotherham Shukokai Karate Club is located in Rotherham town centre and uses the facilities at STAC Fitness and Crossfit.  Our aim is to support you through your Karate journey to black belt and beyond.  Everyone has their own reason for starting up martial arts.  Some common reasons for learning a martial art such as karate are:

  • Build Confidence
  • Gain Fitness & Self Control
  • Discover Mutual Respect
  • Learn Self Defence
  • Find Courage & Achievement

Karate is also great for meeting and making new friends and getting families to spend time learning real life skills together.  There is no right or wrong reason for starting this journey, but commitment and determination is key to earning your black.   Rotherham Shukokai Karate Club is here to help you achieve your black belt, but also our friendly club will support you and keep you motivated.

We believe in creating an environment that is inclusive to everyone, is friendly, challenging and inspires you to become the best version of yourself.  You may not be super fit, or you may be afraid of coming into what can be perceived as an intimidating environment.  But our club is for everyone, our training is progressive, and we are convinced that you will thoroughly enjoy training with us.  Come along for your free lesson and see for yourself.  Or send us a message if you would like some more information.
